As joint founder, David is involved in leading Vistair’s strategy. He oversees product R&D and works with airline clients to determine the technology roadmap for Vistair.
Formerly Research and Development Director of a global company providing Cloud services and with a PhD in Computer Science, David’s 30 years’ experience of software development has helped propel Vistair to its position as one of the world’s most innovative providers of aviation software products and services. -
Rob, a chartered accountant, has more than 20 years’ experience working with high growth technology businesses. Previous roles include leading PwC's Corporate Finance UK Technology team and Group Financial Controller at PIC, a listed £220m revenue business based in 29 countries.
At Vistair, he is responsible for the Group’s finances and operations, sits on the Executive Board as well as working closely with teams across the business to support growth in key markets including the US, Middle East and Asia.
Rob has been involved in the evolution of Vistair’s Safety Management System solutions, including the US ASAP offering, and has worked on projects with Delta and easyJet. He is an integral part of the Vistair management team, providing expert strategic advice as the business develops into new markets. -
As a senior commercial professional specialising in global B2B technology sales, Dominic Clarke has over 20 years’ experience and expertise in the airline and travel industry. He has worked both as part of airline teams (10 years with British Airways) and has also led sales for successful global technology companies specialising in e-commerce, mobile, and digital flight operations solutions.
As CCO, Dominic’s role is to both deepen client relationships and also to drive, and build upon, the successful commercial growth and scaling of Vistair. -
With over 30 years of aviation experience Bart has an acute awareness of factors affecting flight operations and the aviation business in general. During his commercial and military career with American Airlines, the US Navy, and JetBlue, Bart's leadership responsibilities have encompassed all aspects of the operational environment
As COO, North America, Bart leads operations in the Americas region and works directly with airlines to identify and support the delivery, and implementation, of Vistair's added value flight operations systems. -
Richard Houghton has spent the past two decades working in senior management roles in private equity owned businesses, in both an executive and non-executive capacity. As co-founder of Xchanging, a venture capital funded software and services business, Richard grew the business from 3 people to more than 9,000 staff in 9 countries over 10 years.
Richard’s extensive experience within the software sector and his expertise in developing and implementing strategies for growth businesses are key to his role within Vistair as Chairman. -
Matthew is Product Director SMS with responsibility for SafetyNet, QualityNet, RiskNet, ASIMS and Vistair Intelligence. A highly experienced strategic IT professional with over 25 years’ experience, Matthew was previously Head of Software Engineering at Veritas Technologies LLC where he led and directed a distributed team of 200+.

A highly knowledgeable IT professional with experience spanning both the public and private sectors, including the insurance industry and MOD, Gill heads Vistair’s DocuNet Development team. Gill’s experience spans the entire Vistair product range having previously led the Development Team that focused upon developing and supporting Vistair’s SMS suite of products.

With a career in Quality gained at global giant Amcor, Lesley initially gained experience in Vistair as a Document Technician, before taking up the position of Quality Manager and then Head of Document Services.
In her current role as Director of HR, Lesley has helped to resource and structure the teams within the Document Department to support the need for expansion within Vistair, and is responsible for maintaining the latest UKAS recognised Quality Standards. Lesley is also responsible for implementing a formal structure to complement the HR function within the company, supporting the Senior Management Team and staff. -
Mark joined Vistair Systems Ltd as Quality Manager four years ago, having previously gained over 20 years experience building and managing Quality Assurance Systems at director level in the print industry. In February 2018 Mark took up the position as Head of Document Services with a core objective of supporting Vistair's growth ambitions, with a particular focus on the Documents Department.
During a career encompassing experience in both production and sales environments, at a senior management level, Mark brings considerable experience to the ever-expanding Vistair Documents Department. Having been part of many successful teams over the years, Mark believes passionately in a team culture throughout every aspect of his work. -
Craig joined Vistair in 2012 having previously spent over two decades working with complex technology and its implementation in both the public and private sectors, including many years working in the Defence sector as a technical consultant.
As Director of Infrastructure Services Craig has responsibility for Vistair’s entire IT infrastructure, the Support Services Team and, of critical importance, IT and data security. In addition Craig’s technical knowledge is invaluable when client data and integration specifications are received. -
Jon has been with Vistair since the company started back in 2005. He has supported the growth and development of the document software, production tools and processes. His experience and technical knowledge have supported the training and development of the Document Services team. He is responsible for ensuring new and updated software is considered within all aspects of the document processes, supporting the team and CTO.
