Those airline pilots have it all don’t they? Exciting job, glamorous international jet-set lifestyle and all the free peanuts they can manage from the snacks trolley.
So, the question is, what do you buy for the favourite pilot in your life who seemingly already has it all?
Well, we’ve got just the thing.
Airlne professionals the world over have been straining at their fastened seatbelts to own an app version of our market-leading airline document manual management solution, DocuNet.
The web-based DocuNet service, used by commercial airlines the world over, is structured to reduce costs and deliver the highest possible standard of technology to flight ops teams.
Using DocuNet airlines can deliver accurate, up to date and fully compliant e-flight operations manuals throughout their organisations. Sophisticated yet intuitive, once deployed DocuNet users do not require any specialist training or software to take full advantage of its capabilities.
For some time this technology has been available as an application on the iPad platform and now, due to huge demand and following extensive development, Vistair is releasing a version compatible with Apple’s iPhone.
But that’s not all…
We’ve only gone and released versions for Android and Windows, meaning whatever your platform of choice DocuNet’s powerful functionality is there with you every step of the way.
“We have been working on this for some time, however development has at various points been severely interrupted by things like the latest Apple iOS software upgrade, iOS 8,” said Ian Herbert, Vistair’s managing director.
“In common with the entire suite of our airline safety, management and compliance solutions we refuse to put anything out until it has undergone rigorous testing and works seamlessly with our clients’ own in-house systems.”
He added: “Demand for mobile technology shows no signs of slowing and this mobile app places more functionality than ever literally into our clients’ hands.”
Ian Herbert added that due to ongoing development costs a small charge was required to purchase the iPhone and Android versions, however the Windows version remains as a free download.
